Changing a Bookmark's Link-Type

WebCD Globe Changing a Bookmark's Link-Type

Use the following procedures to change the link-type of a bookmark. A WebCD link accesses the document from the WebCD; a Live-Link accesses the document by linking back to the live Web site.

Menu

1 In the Bookmarks View, highlight the bookmark whose link-type you would like to change.
2 Choose Properties from the Edit menu. You will see the Bookmark Properties - General dialog.
3 Select the radio-button for the link-type you wish: WebCD Link or Live-Link.
Note The WebCD Link and Live-Link options will be grayed if the item you selected is a folder or host.
4 Click OK to save the new link-type. The icon displayed for the document in the Bookmarks View changes to reflect the new link type.

Shortcut Menu

1 In the Bookmarks View, right-click on the document whose link-type you would like to change.
2 Choose WebCD Link or Live-Link to change the link-type as desired. The link-type changes as soon as the selection is made. The icon displayed for the document in the Bookmarks View changes to reflect the new link type.
Note The WebCD Link and Live-Link options will be grayed if the item you selected is a folder or host.
